  • Aug 2026 → likely Dec 2027 High-risk systems under Annex III: formally August 2026; the Digital Omnibus (2026) proposes postponing to December 2027, subject to publication in the EU Official Journal
  • Aug 2027 → likely Aug 2028 High-risk AI in regulated products (Annex I); August 2028 under the Omnibus proposal
